What is Kickstarter?
The Kickstarter is an
organization based in Greenpoint, Brookly. Their job is to be improving the
site, resolving the problem from backers and creator, and finding great new project
to share with the public.
What is the business model of Kickstarter?
The people who
have creative and good ideas. they can create a project. Within this project,
they should have clear description. Such as clear goal, like making an album, a
book, or a work of art. Every project has to share those information with
others on the Kickstarter. At the end, the project has
to have something produced by it. The final
goal is to fund enough money that a creator needs to complete their project. Funding
on Kickstarter is all-or-nothing. No one will be charged
for a pledge towards a project unless it reaches its funding goal.
What
is the Creator, and Backer.
Creator is
the people who have the good idea and raise a project.
Backer
is the people who are donate money to support the project.
Where the backers come from?
The majority of backers are come form the fans and friends for the project. Such as a sing app, the people who like this app they are willing to donate money to make the app come out. And if they really like it they also speed by the world of mouse through the social media. Also at the end the backer can get reward for the pledge. such as a copy of what's being produced with limited edition, or custom experience related to the project.
The Important role for Kickstarter
The agency: Communicate withe the Creator and Backers, help them resolve problem during the pledge.
The superintendent:Making the rules connect with the laws. Protect the right for both creator and backers. Make sure the pledge use for the project not offer for equity or fundraise for charity.
Public Platform: Supply the website platform for the fundraising, find good interest project sharing with the public.
